FEZ

Fez, a cross-dimensional 2d platformer made by Phil fish. I really wished he didn't get into so much social media drama/ flame war or make controversial statements on public appearances. Nonetheless, very interesting concept.

SCP Containment Breach

One of the scariest survival horror game with a game mechanic that is unique. In this game, you escape a facility after a couple of creatures escape containment. One of them is a statue that you have to maintain eye contact, otherwise it'll zoom towards you and kill you instantly. To make things more fun, your character will blink every few seconds.

Penumbra requiem

Penumbra overture was one of my favorite survival horror games of all time. This game, however, removes horror and focuses on puzzle solving. Nonetheless interesting to solve through.

ABZU

Spiritual successor to Journey. Hopefully, there'll be more gameplay elements in the future

Drawing kinetic sculpture

This sculpture moves around the room and draws it . This idea could be explored in the future in terms of subconscious design.

Architecture as language

A little bit unrelated, but this building explores the method of designing a house in a subtractive manner. Both Walter Gropius and Mies Van Der Rohe are interviewed.

Interesting visualization from radiohead's music video "House of cards"

Reverse Bicycle

The cool thing about this bicycle lies in its simplicity, yet its ability to change our paradigm and perception of balance, and learning in general. Hopefully, I'll get to give this a shot in the distant future.

Cloth moved by vortex of wind

Walter gropius of the bauhaus school once mentioned that in the future, people will sit on columns of air produced by vortex. This was a statement to the growing desire to achieve minimalism.

Sea organ

This device uses the power of waves to create music. Something that grabbed my attention about this was due to the fact that tidal forces were perpetual, yet random.

A fan controls the inflation of the plastic trash bags. Visually interesting looking .

Wintergatan

An interesting wooden contraption that relies on the dropping of metal balls to strike a Xylophone instrument. This instrument was one of the few inspirations for the final assignment.

Monument valley

A game that incorporates Escher-like optical illusions into the gameplay mechanic.

Return of the obra din

a game that explores the passage of time in an investigative manner.

Bernband
